Refund policy

At TideScan LLC, we provide professional-grade diagnostic and thermal imaging equipment. To ensure all customers receive factory-certified, high-precision equipment, our return policy is strictly enforced.

1. RETURN WINDOW You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to request a return. After 30 days, all sales are considered final. Any issues regarding technical failure after this period must be handled through the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranty.

2. ELIGIBILITY & CONDITION To qualify for a refund, the item must be in "New & Factory-Fresh" condition:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

  • It must be in the original, unopened packaging with all factory seals and holographic stickers intact.

  • All manuals, accessories, cables, and blank warranty cards must be included.

  • Any promotional items or "gifts with purchase" must also be returned in new condition.

3. RESTOCKING FEES Due to the specialized nature of thermal imaging technology and the costs associated with technical inspection and re-certification, a 15% restocking fee will be applied to all authorized returns that are not due to a verified manufacturer defect or shipping error. This fee will be deducted from your final refund.

4. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

  • Special order or custom-configured equipment.

  • Software licenses or digital downloads.

  • Opened accessories (e.g., batteries, SD cards, or replacement lenses).

  • Items showing any signs of use, mounting, or field deployment.

5. RETURN PROCESS (RMA) You must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping any items back to us.

  1. Contact us at info@tidescan.tools with your Order ID and reason for return.

  2. Once approved, you will receive an RMA number and the correct return shipping address (Note: This may be a direct-to-manufacturer or warehouse address).

  3. Write the RMA number clearly on the outer shipping box, not the product packaging.

6. SHIPPING COSTS The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for the full value of the item. TideScan LLC is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

7. REFUNDS Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 5–7 business days), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund (minus the restocking fee) will be processed to your original method of payment.
